Our Products

A wax melt is a piece of wax without a wick that can be used with an electric or tealight burner. Usually they are a lot stronger in scent than a candle because they are heated, not burnt. A candle is usually used to add to the decor of a room. They come with a wick which can be lit to release fragrance. You don't need a wax warmer for this, just some matches, but because the wax comes in contact with a flame, this burns some of the fragrance away whilst it is in use.
Make sure your candle is trimmed to 5mm high before every use, this keeps your candle burning without any soot. If the wick is cut too short it won't light. Once lit allow your candle to burn for 2-3 hours until all of the top layer of wax has melted all of the way to the glass. This will stop the candle from tunnelling. When a candle tunnels there is a width of wax around the inside edge of a glass that will never melt away. This leads to a shortened candle life.
You will need a tealight burner or an electric burner. Simply break off a piece of your wax melt and place it on the melt plate. Light a tealight under your tealight burner or turn your electric burner on. Do not leave your burners unattended, or near pets, children or drafts. Do not leave them on for more than 3 hours at a time. They will need time to cool between burns.
We only use soy wax which is vegan and both environmentally and pet friendly. It doesn't release any nasties into the air, or smoke and soot like paraffin wax does so you can breathe easy. Soy wax also lasts longer than other waxes due to it's lower burning point. All of our products are highly scented with the finest fragrance oils. We only use biodegradable glitter in our products which breaks down before it even reaches the sea. Please rest assured, all of our wax is CLP compliant and we are fully insured.
Though our products are safe to use around pets, we wouldn't recommend letting your pet get too close to them. All safety data sheets are available on request.

Although some fragrances may sound the same as designer ones, they are simply dupes and shouldn't be confused with the originals. We are in no way affiliated with these designer companies.

Use and Care

Choose the wax melt you'd like to use. We'd recommend half or a whole segment at a time of our snap bars, or a similar amount for our shaped wax melts. Remember it's easier to add extra wax after 10minutes of burning than it is to remove it so start small. Our fragrances fill a room very quickly!
It's all personal preference, some people prefer a stronger scent in their homes than others. Typically a segment of wax from one of our snap bars will last 7 hours+ A tealight burner will get the wax hotter than an electric burner so the fragrance weaken faster.
We'd advise you heat the wax for a few minutes until it is soft. Next, turn off the burner or blow out the flame and use a clean cloth with some water and a little washing up liquid to remove all of the remaining wax. This allows your burner to be fresh and ready for your next lot of wax.

Orders and Delivery

Almost all of our products are handmade to order with the greatest love, time and attention, so please allow up to 5 days until you receive an order dispatch email. If we have your whole order in stock will dispatch it on the following working day.
We use Royal Mail Signed for 2nd class delivery. Our products have known to arrive next day but please allow 2-3 days from the dispatch email.
If you choose to collect your order please wait until we let you know it is ready to pick up. A post code in Wickford, Essex, UK will be given to you with a mobile number and a time slot. Please let us know when you have arrived so we can bring your order out to you.
Refunds are only eligible to be received within 14 days of purchase if you have changed your mind. The item must be unused and in the same packaging as you received it. All refunds will be subject to items returned in a saleable condition. Contact us at enchantedwax@hotmail.com to arrange a return. Return postage will be paid by you. At Enchanted Wax we check our products are of the highest quality before dispatch. Should you receive an item you are not satisfied with, you must contact us within 48 hours at enchantedwax@hotmail.com, with your order reference number and contact details as well as images of the product. We will discuss your options with you thereafter. If your order is damaged from the courier we advise you refuse delivery. Unfortunately sale items cannot be returned or refunded.
